Todd Charlton

A leading sound designer in Canada, Todd worked at many theatres, including Soulpepper Theatre, the Tarragon Theatre and the Shaw Festival. He taught Sound and Electricity courses at Humber College for seven years, during which time he also designed the sound for several productions. Todd had long associations with Young People’s Theatre, Theatre Sheridan, the Blyth Festival and the Stratford Festival, where he designed sound for over fifty productions and composed the music for Measure for Measure and She Stoops to Conquer. The Stratford Festival's 2016 production of All My Sons was dedicated to Todd’s memory. Todd was an avid tennis player and coached Rotary Hockey for many years, winning the Coach of the Year Award twice. Awards: Four Dora nominations for Outstanding Sound Design.
