Stratford: Designed 29 productions, including The Beaux’ Stratagem, The Merchant of Venice, Cymbeline, The Homecoming, Dangerous Liaisons, Krapp’s Last Tape/Hughie, Romeo and Juliet, Caesar and Cleopatra and King Lear. Elsewhere: Resident Lighting Designer – National Ballet of Canada for 12 seasons, designing over 25 productions; 24 seasons at Shaw Festival (10 as Head of Lighting Design), designing more than 55 productions. He has worked with a diverse range of Canadian companies, including NAC, Canadian Stage, Citadel Theatre, Theatre Calgary, Belfry Theatre, Pacific Opera Victoria, GCTC and Segal Theatre. Internationally: Lincoln Center Theater, Chicago’s Goodman Theatre, Hartford Stage, ABT, Seattle Opera, Geneva Opera and Stuttgart Ballet. Awards: Sterling for Edmonton Opera’s mounting of Robert Lepage’s Bluebeard’s Castle and Erwartung; four Dora Mavor Moore Awards; and presented with the prestigious Siminovitch Prize in Theatre for 2012.
