Mary Jay
Stratford: Trumpet for Annie, Trumpet for Hamlet, Festival Theatre fanfares. Elsewhere: Mary is a full-time member of the Hamilton Philharmonic Orchestra with a busy season of concerts, outreach performances and educational events. She can be heard each night on the CTV News themes and the Blue Jays baseball themes. Training: Mary studied trumpet performance at the University of Toronto, in the Royal Conservatory’s orchestral training program and the National Youth Orchestra, but continues to learn with each wonderful player she has the privilege of working with.
