Greg Kramer
Stratford: Magic coach for The Tempest. Elsewhere: A member of the Society of American Magicians, Greg has created magic for Houdini (Segal/Montreal Jazz Festival), Barnum (Arts Club) and A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Vancouver Playhouse). A director and actor for 30 years, he’s also performed illusions in many roles, including Mephistopheles in Faust (TheatreSpace), Lucio in Measure for Measure (St. Lawrence Shakespeare Festival) and some bottle magic as Nudie in The Haunted Hillbilly (SideMart Theatrical Grocery). Film/TV: Greg’s sleight of hand has appeared on The Secret Adventures of Jules Verne, Tales from the Neverending Story and EarthStar Voyager. Training: Mountview Theatre School, London, U.K. Awards: Best Director MECCA, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof (Segal Theatre, 2008). Greg has written three novels and a collection of short stories, all published by Riverbank, an imprint of Cormorant Books.
